Job Description
The City of Salo is seeking a Land Use Director. The Land Use Services are responsible for creating and organizing conditions for urban environment development, structural functionality, and livability in Salo. The service area handles city planning, zoning, land allotments, and land ownership management. It also manages land division, real estate formation, and maintains the real estate register, produces and maintains geospatial data, operates geographic information systems, and provides customer service for the sector. The Land Use Director, who leads the service area, reports directly to the Director of Economic Development and oversees land use services. We are a reliable and stable employer. The role requires practical work and managerial experience in land use services, knowledge of municipal administration, leadership, financial and HR management skills, and familiarity with sector legislation. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage with various clients and stakeholders. Successful performance also requires good negotiation and presentation skills and readiness to operate and develop networks. The salary for the position is €5050.00/month. Additional compensation may be paid based on work experience according to the collective agreement. We also pay a personal allowance to all employees with employment lasting over six months. The position is filled conditionally until the selected candidate provides an acceptable health certificate. The probation period is six months if the conditions of the collective agreement are met.
