We are currently hiring 2 fixed-term experts for the Learning Services team at Aalto University, from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. The tasks are additional resources enabled by separate development project funding. As an expert, you will develop pedagogical understanding and skills within our learning community in collaboration with various stakeholders. You will support teachers and programs in pedagogical solutions related to learning and teaching, digitalization of education, and strategic development of teaching at Aalto. You will participate in pedagogical and/or digital pedagogical training and in developing learning service processes and practices. You will collaborate across disciplines on topics such as multilingual teaching, digitalization, or AI in teaching and learning solutions. You will promote co-creation among diverse actors and reform our learning culture. Your work may include technical tasks such as pedagogical use of MS Office tools and development of digital learning and teaching services. Your expertise should include being a team player motivated by challenges, with an interest in growing your expertise and developing your work community. You should be able to see the big picture and manage details. You are curious, solution-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive. You have a data-driven, investigative, and developmental approach. You possess strong project skills and resilience, capable of practical work and learning new things, completing complex projects successfully. You can train, consult, and facilitate educational reform, and have organizational and networking skills. You hold a relevant higher education degree, with pedagogical understanding, skills, and practical experience, including pedagogical qualification. You work well under pressure, anticipate needs, and have excellent digital, collaboration, and communication skills. Your English is good, and Finnish is excellent. Strong communication skills and experience with modern teaching practices and user-oriented guidance are valued, as well as systemic thinking, experience in educational development, and digitalization. The exact scope of work will be tailored based on your skills, interests, and current needs. The salary is based on the university's collective agreement, at level MV10, ranging from 4000 to 4700 euros. We hope you can start in September 2026.
