Job Description
We are looking for a Lifeguard or Swimming Instructor for our client Levi Hotel Spa Resort, for a fixed-term employment starting from August 2026 until April 2027, with the possibility of extension. Design Hotel Levi and Levi Hotel Spa are located at the foot of Finland's leading ski resort slopes, in the heart of Levi's mountain village, close to our spa pools and wellness services, a diverse selection of restaurants, and comprehensive services. The wild mountain nature is always just around the corner. Here, you can combine work and leisure in stunning mountain scenery and gather new experiences and adventures for the future! As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility is the safety of the pool area and customer service. You will work as part of the spa team, with shifts scheduled daily from 12:00 to 20:00. If you have a swimming instructor qualification, your duties will also include swimming lessons for school children in the mornings, in collaboration with other swimming instructors. We hope you have: - Completed a lifeguard course or swimming instructor qualification in Finland - Good customer service and teamwork skills - Fluent Finnish language skills - Good English language skills - Be of legal age - First aid certificate (EA1) The selected candidate must be proficient in Finnish and English, as orientation is conducted in Finnish and customer service requires communication in both languages. Additional language skills are a plus. We offer you: - An international atmosphere at Finland's largest ski resort - 90 hours of work per 3 weeks at an hourly wage - Compensation according to hotel and restaurant industry collective agreement, based on experience and qualifications. Lifeguards are paid according to pay group 3 (starting at €12.97/hour) based on experience, and swimming instructors according to pay group 4 (starting at €13.70/hour). - Employee benefits from Barona and resort-specific staff benefits If you are interested in working as a lifeguard but lack the course, you can apply for a course through the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Association or perform a test swim to temporarily work as a lifeguard. The course provides basic knowledge and skills in lifesaving, customer service, and rescue tasks. Are you considering relocating to the area?
