Juupajoki Municipality is seeking a full-time Youth and Sports Coordinator for a permanent position. As a Youth and Sports Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall development and coordination of the municipality's youth and sports services. The role offers a diverse and meaningful position within a small community environment. Your tasks include, among others: - Planning, organizing, and developing youth and sports activities - Supervising staff in youth and sports services - Coordinating youth centers, clubs, camps, and events - Collaborating with schools, associations, clubs, and other stakeholders - Promoting youth participation and influence, including guiding the youth council - Enhancing communication and visibility of activities (e.g., website and social media) - Preparing, implementing, and reporting on projects - Other leisure services tasks, such as instructing sports for 1-2 groups annually and gym guidance - Promoting and implementing international youth work We expect from you: - Suitable higher education degree, such as a university of applied sciences degree or equivalent - Interest and experience in youth and/or sports work - Good interaction and collaboration skills - Initiative and development-oriented approach - Organizational skills and readiness for independent work - Communication skills and proficiency with digital tools We offer you: - A versatile and impactful role - A close and supportive small community - Opportunities to develop the municipality's youth and sports services - Salary and employment terms according to KVTES - Employee benefits in accordance with municipal policies Previous experience in similar roles is considered an advantage.
