Job Description
Hannakoti is located in Dragsfjärd on the beautiful Kemiönsaari, 10 km from Taalintehdas and 15 km from Kemiö. Hannakoti has 44 clients and our unit consists of three departments. We offer institutional care, around-the-clock care, and short-term care. As a nurse, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitative care comprehensively, as well as developing the quality of care within your unit. You oversee the overall nursing care of clients, including assessment and coordination of care using the RAI system. You lead and guide practical nurses, care assistants, and care workers in their nursing work, and you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating medication management in collaboration with a doctor. You operate at the center of multidisciplinary collaboration and maintain active contact with relatives and other partners. Additionally, you maintain your professional skills, supervise students, and orient new employees. We offer a responsible and meaningful role as a nurse in a unit where you can work long-term with holistic care and be genuinely present in the daily lives of clients throughout the entire care process. You will have the opportunity to utilize your professional expertise in developing nursing care and team leadership. We require broad expertise in medication management and good knowledge of the medication process. The work requires managing several different tasks and continuously monitoring and assessing the overall well-being of clients. You are ready to acquire new knowledge and develop your skills, and you are capable of using the information systems required for the job. You are familiar with the legislation governing the activities and act accordingly. We value a reliable, careful, and humorous team player who dares to bring forward new ideas and lead a team. Additionally, good teamwork and communication skills are required, as well as good oral and written skills in one of the following languages: Swedish and Finnish, with at least satisfactory skills in the other. The qualification requirement is a license as a registered nurse according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994).
