Production Manager - Aputeam Oy - Pori, Finland

We are seeking a production manager for our client company in the Pori area! As a production manager, you will be responsible for and lead the operations of the machine shop. The machine shop has been operating for 50 years and produces well-known products. They have an established customer base. Our client conducts international trade. 80-90% of the products are exported, with the main market area being the Nordic countries. The machine shop employs approximately 30 people. As a production manager, you will oversee production operations, purchasing, personnel, and results (budget monitoring). You will collaborate with various authorities, as well as external and internal stakeholders. You will actively follow industry product development and identify new suppliers. You will handle procurement tenders. The job also involves occasional travel to suppliers, so readiness for travel is required. You speak fluent Finnish and can communicate both orally and in writing in English. Knowledge of Swedish and German is an advantage. You have a good understanding of electrical and/or hydraulics. Knowledge of strength calculations is also considered an advantage. Experience in a similar role is preferred. The work begins according to agreement and is permanent. Salary depends on experience. The position follows the collective agreement of the technology industry for office workers. We will conduct interviews before the application deadline.
