As a personal assistant, you will become part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the main role of the assistant is to be a conversation partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of a personal assistant is significant in the client’s daily life, aiming to support and enable living at home as long as possible and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful everyday life, respecting the client’s autonomy. This job suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. An open attitude and your personality go a long way! We offer you salary according to the collective agreement: Private Social Services Sector TES, pay grade G15A, flexible working hours, opportunity to familiarize yourself with disability work and the care sector, orientation tailored to your skills, support from a professional and humor-filled work community, possibility to advance to other social and health care roles through further studies. We hope from you genuine interest in assistance work, positive and cheerful attitude, willingness to learn and develop in your work, sufficient Finnish language skills; other language skills are an advantage. We require you to have vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act Section 48 and Section 55 tuberculosis screening.
