An experienced electrical designer is needed to strengthen our design team in Tampere or Helsinki. The role focuses on electrical design for building projects, with opportunities to expand into site visits, measurements, condition assessments, thermal imaging and supervision based on interest. You will independently handle design tasks for electrical systems, communicate with clients and other project stakeholders, and collaborate with LVIA and automation designers, developers, contractors, architects and others. The position offers varied projects from small to large, with responsibilities including MagiCAD-based electrical design, planning and scheduling, checking drawings and ensuring quality, and client meetings. The work can be located in Tampere or Helsinki, with hybrid remote options. Requirements include at least five years of electrical design experience, strong practical design skills, MagiCAD proficiency, ability to manage own design packages independently, broad experience with different building and project types, customer-facing disposition and teamwork, hands-on, proactive approach, engineering (AMK) qualification, and fluent Finnish. Nice-to-haves include experience with commercial/office/warehouse properties, familiarity with renovations and new builds, knowledge of KVR projects, electrician background, Revit proficiency, experience with measurements, condition assessments, thermal imaging, supervision or other electrical expert tasks, and a current electrical design credential or qualifications enabling a higher level credential.
