Nuorgamin Lomakeskus Oy is a small, cozy family business located in the northernmost village of Finland, Nuorgam. The resort is situated in stunning open tundra scenery, peaceful surroundings on the banks of the Teno River, near Norway and the Arctic Sea. Our company has been operated by the same family for over 55 years. Our permanent staff includes a family of four as well as 2-7 permanent and seasonal employees. We are looking for a proactive, versatile kitchen and restaurant professional for the upcoming winter season to work with our relaxed and friendly team serving our international weekly guests. Your tasks include, among others: - Preparing and presenting breakfast - Preparing packed lunches for excursions - Serving and assisting with other kitchen and dining tasks - Customer service We require from you: - Experience in a similar role - A proactive approach, friendly customer service attitude, and good communication skills to uphold our key values: hospitality and good service - Flexibility and resilience under pressure - Finnish and English language skills - Hygiene passport We offer you: - Full-time work for the winter season 2026-2027 - Competitive salary of 12-15 €/hour depending on experience and skills (MARATES) - Good onboarding and support from experienced colleagues throughout the season - Accommodation (rent starting at 400 €/month) - Workplace meals: 8 €/lunch and 4.50 €/breakfast - A small, relaxed, and community-oriented work environment - Excellent leisure opportunities in beautiful tundra nature - Rental equipment at affordable prices for outdoor hobbies - Free access to the municipal gym - The possibility to rent a car temporarily through us - Quality occupational health services Advantages include: - Experience and education in the tourism industry - Experience working in tourism service companies or similar roles - Love for nature and outdoor activities - Willingness to assist with other tasks if needed The work begins in December and lasts until the end of March or as agreed.
