Job Description
These tasks are related to the government's goal of hiring 500 young people into fixed-term employment relationships during 2026. The tasks are especially intended for individuals aged 18–25 who are seeking their first job from the public sector. Hämeenlinna Prison is part of the Häme and Pirkanmaa Correctional Services. Hämeenlinna Prison is a new, modern, 120-place closed prison for women. Additionally, on the prison campus, there is a 38-place prison hospital. Hämeenlinna Prison is Finland's largest closed prison for women with special needs. The primary responsibility of the instructor is to enable rehabilitative activities for inmates and to guide inmate groups. As an instructor, you will also work closely with the prison's security and guidance staff. In this role, you support inmates on the wards in daily activities and matters, and you lead various prison work activity groups according to your expertise.
