Job Description
In the South Savo Welfare Area, Eloisa's oral health services are seeking a permanent public health dentist starting from 1 July 2026 or by agreement. We primarily seek a full-time dentist, but part-time arrangements can be discussed separately. We may conduct interviews during the application period. Eloisa's oral health services employ approximately 160 oral health professionals, about 90 of whom work in the Mikkeli region. The Mikkeli area has six dental clinics (Mikkeli, Juva, Kangasniemi, Mäntyharju, Puumala, and Ristiina). The work community is youthful and inspiring. We operate in the spirit of "Together" in collaboration with dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. The work involves diverse tasks typical for a public health dentist, including urgent care on weekdays and occasional on-call duties on weekends and public holidays. In addition to general eligibility requirements, we require the right to practice as a licensed healthcare professional under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/94). The position requires good spoken and written Finnish language skills. We also value good cooperation and interaction skills. We appreciate both work experience and enthusiasm to expand one's skills, as well as commitment to our team. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a health status report regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per section 55. The selected candidate must present a health status report before appointment. A six (6) month probationary period applies. Applications must be received by the deadline.
