Part-time AI Developer / Data Analyst, Student Position - Asianajotoimisto Heikkilä & Co Oy

Heikkilä & Co is seeking a student to assist with the technical implementation of an AI system under development and the utilization of public data. We are looking for a student capable of working independently to participate in the development of our AI system. The role is suitable for someone interested in AI, software development, data acquisition, and practical analytics. In this role, you will implement designated areas of our developing AI system. A key aspect of the task is the ability to acquire data from public sources, organize it into a usable format for system needs. The work is guided by our AI architect, but we expect you to advance your assigned tasks independently. Your responsibilities may include - Collecting and assessing the quality of data from public sources - Automating data acquisition, transforming, cleaning, and structuring data for analysis - Developing individual functionalities of the AI system - Implementing data processing, integrations, or user interface components - Testing and improving the system - Documenting technical solutions - Collaborating with the AI architect and the team We expect from you - Relevant studies in fields such as computer science, software development, data analytics, AI, statistics, industrial engineering, process automation, or other technical areas - Readiness to perform technical development work independently - Good problem-solving skills - Interest in AI systems and their practical applications - Careful and responsible work attitude - Ability to communicate progress clearly Previous experience with tools such as Next.js, Docker, n8n, MCP servers, SQL, APIs, structured web data, databases, cloud services, or AI tools is considered an advantage. However, the most important qualities are the ability to learn quickly, acquire necessary knowledge independently, and implement agreed tasks practically.
