Accountant / Financial Management Specialist - Nystuga Oy

Due to the retirement of our long-term employee, we are looking for a skilled and responsible accountant / financial management specialist for our small accounting office in the Myrskylä-Porvoo area to handle diverse financial management tasks. Our accounting office serves companies and entrepreneurs of various business forms, but a significant portion of our clients are agricultural entrepreneurs. Therefore, understanding agricultural taxation, accounting, and the daily and special aspects of agricultural clients is particularly emphasized in this role. The position is suitable for a person with strong financial management skills who enjoys customer-oriented work in a small, practical accounting office. In this role, you will independently or as part of a small team handle our clients' accounting, financial statements, and taxation tasks. Agricultural assignments constitute an essential part of the job. Your responsibilities include, among others: accounting and tax returns for agricultural clients, handling questions related to agricultural taxation, ongoing accounting for different business forms, preparing financial statements, submitting tax returns and other official reports, tasks related to value-added tax, advising clients on accounting, financial statements, and taxation matters, overall tax planning for clients. We hope you have previous experience in an accounting office or similar financial management tasks. Success in this role requires good knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and taxation. Practical experience in agricultural financial management and understanding of specific issues related to agricultural clients' accounting and taxation are valued. We require accuracy, initiative, a responsible work attitude, good customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
