VAKEn Martinlaaksonkujan asumisyksikkö is seeking a practical nurse for a fixed-term substitute position from 20.7.-31.10.2026. Work in the housing unit is done in three shifts. We strive to consider your wishes in shift planning. Applications should be sent immediately; candidates may be called for interviews during the application period. Positions will be filled as suitable candidates are found. You need fluent Finnish language skills for communication with residents. We hope for interest, a brisk attitude, and independence. We expect graduated practical nurses to complete medication permits at the start of employment. You must have a social and healthcare professional card. 15 residents live at Martinlaaksonkuja; we offer a home and strong 24-hour individual support and guidance for adults with intellectual disabilities. Residents live in their own apartments on two floors. Instructors work in three shifts. The unit is located near the train and bus station, providing good transport links. Salary: 2565.47 eur/month, plus possible addition based on previous experience. Terms are determined by the General Collective Agreement for Wellbeing Services (HYVTES).
