Job Description
The Many-Body Theory group at Tampere University is looking for a doctoral researcher to work on the computational study of quantum nuclear effects in solids. The project involves developing an in-house program package and conducting computations on realistic solids using supercomputer resources provided by CSC. The candidate must hold a master's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or chemistry, with strong programming skills, especially in Python. Experience with Quantum ESPRESSO is advantageous. The position is for three years, starting in fall 2026, with a typical salary of around 3000 EUR/month.
