Senior QA Automation Engineer - Appfollow - Remote - Global

AppFollow is an App review management and ASO platform. Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support, etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app average rating, improve app store rankings, and app user loyalty. This fully remote role is for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help grow AppFollow globally. You'll work on product features together with the Product team, own product quality end to end, and build the test automation and AI-agent infrastructure used by engineers across the company. About the Role - Own product quality across the full feature lifecycle - Review product documentation, clarify requirements, and identify dependencies early (shift-left approach) - Design, build, and maintain automated test coverage for both our APIs (internal and public, covering core data entities) and our web UI, using Playwright or similar browser automation tools - Develop our AI-agent testing infrastructure: a shared platform that QA engineers and developers across teams use to test their own projects and contribute to. You'll shape its architecture, standards, and contribution model - Contribute to test automation and monitoring systems, keeping the codebase efficient, testable, reliable, secure, scalable, and well documented - Collaborate with the Platform team to deploy to various environments, ensure smooth operation, and follow shared standards, practices, and processes - Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex scenarios and new features beyond automated coverage About you - 5+ years of experience in QA / test automation - 3+ years of Python development and testing with pytest - Hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks: Playwright preferred (Selenium or Cypress also welcome) - Strong SQL skills, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL - Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) - Practical experience with AI/LLM tools beyond code autocomplete - Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus - Upper-intermediate English or higher Benefits we offer - Full-time remote job.
