Technology and innovation careers - KONE Corporation We are now looking for a Senior Lead Full Stack Cloud SW Developer, Technician Experience Platform Development Join our Digital Services, SW organization in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland, where we build and operate platforms and solutions across IoT Platform, Digital Services, Analytics Platform, and the Technician Experience Platform. A day in the life of KONE Elevator Technician in 2035 https://youtu.be/FEimBC0N-Tw?si=K_zs50V6v5GpYLdL In this role, you will build cloud-native digital services and user experiences that empower technicians in the field—enabling smoother workflows, reliable experiences, and efficient service operations. The ideal profile is a full stack developer with strong web + backend engineering skills, and interest or experience in mobile development, where Kotlin knowledge (especially on backend) is an advantage and can support growth into mobile development over time. What you’ll do · Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end digital services for the Technician Experience Platform · Build scalable web applications using modern frontend frameworks and best practices · Develop and evolve backend services and APIs integrating with connected services and enterprise systems · Design and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations with a production-grade mindset · Contribute to cloud architecture and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, efficient, and reliable · Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and reliable releases · Collaborate across product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver impactful solutions What we’re looking for · Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer (web + backend) · Frontend experience with React / Angular / Next.js · Strong skills in TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS · Backend development experience (e.g., Node.js or similar technologies) and solid understanding of API design · Experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL) · Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub (e.g., GitHub Actions) · Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and production workloads · Understanding of secure coding and responsive design · Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English Nice to have · Android development experience (native Android, Kotlin, or related mobile exposure) · Kotlin knowledge, especially for backend development, with willingness to grow into mobile development · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud), with Google Cloud considered a plus · Exposure to cloud-native services and architectures For additional information, please contact Chapter Lead, Maintenance Experience Markus Mettälä markus.mettala@kone.com We offer You will be working with highly dynamic teams significantly investing time and effort on how we develop our products, services, and solutions.
