In Rovaniemi, the Lapland Welfare Area is recruiting three permanent dental nurse positions. We primarily seek full-time dental nurses. The work begins according to agreement. As a dental nurse, you will work alongside the dentist and ensure the hygiene and operational readiness of the reception. You can be at the beginning of your career or an experienced professional, as long as you are proactive, flexible, have good teamwork skills, and a desire to develop. Diverse experience in dental nursing, a positive attitude, and a willingness to grow will help you succeed. We offer a position in the new specialized oral health unit (SEHYK) of the Lapland Welfare Area. SEHYK provides specialized dental care comparable to that of a specialist dentist. Our services include orthodontics, gum disease treatment, prosthetic treatment, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and pediatric dentistry. SEHYK is part of basic oral health care, and the facilities are located in the same unit as the basic oral health care in Piekari Dental Clinic. SEHYK employs specialized dentists, resident dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. As a dental nurse at SEHYK, you will also work in specialized healthcare at the Lapland Central Hospital's oral disease outpatient clinic, where procedures such as anesthesia dental treatments are performed. As needed, tasks also include working in the basic oral health care unit. Equipment maintenance and appointment scheduling are handled centrally. We use Esko, Oberon, and Lifecare patient record systems. The qualification requirement for the position is a degree as a dental nurse or a practical nurse with a focus on oral health care. The selected candidate must have good written and spoken Finnish skills. Salary and employment terms are determined according to the Sote agreement. A 6-month probationary period applies.
