Practical Nurse, Home Care Rehabilitative Assessment Unit or Resource Pool - Helsingin kaupunki - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for practical nurses for substitutions of various lengths in Helsinki's home care teams, rehabilitative assessment unit and resource pool. With us, you will do meaningful work to support customers' good everyday life, functional capacity and independent survival, and develop your skills in versatile work environments. Several fixed-term positions are available across Helsinki. You can state in your application which area or team you would primarily like to work in. Currently seeking substitutes for: - Southern home care unit: Munkkiniemi 1 (Driver's license mandatory). - Eastern home care unit: Itäkeskus 2 (Driver's license mandatory). - Southeastern home care unit: Herttoniemi 1 and Laajasalo 1 (Manual driver's license mandatory). - Central home care unit: Vallila 2. - Northeastern home care unit: Viikki 2. - Centralized home care services: Resource Pool 2. - Rehabilitative assessment unit: South team (Manual driver's license mandatory). - Northern home care unit: Oulunkylä 1. Our clients are elderly, recovering, multi-morbid and disabled persons. The goal is to support a safe, individual life in their own homes. Work is mobile, varied and independent. Shifts are between 07:00-21:30 every day of the week. Duties include: - Supporting functional capacity and rehabilitation - Basic care and assistance in daily situations - Medication and wound care and other nursing tasks - Acting as primary nurse for your clients - Recording in Apotti system - Cooperation in multi-professional teams and with relatives We offer: - Competent and supportive team - Comprehensive individual orientation - Extensive training and development opportunities - City of Helsinki staff benefits, such as lunch benefit and Epassi Flex (up to €550/year) Requirements: - Ability to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends - Independent and responsible work in clients' homes - Respectful approach to clients - Good physical condition - Good interaction skills Education: - Practical Nurse degree and Valvira registration, OR - Practical Nurse student with completed credits in: Client interaction (20 ECTS), Wellbeing and functional capacity (25 ECTS), Medication (10 ECTS). (Old criteria: 55 ECTS total including 35 ECTS in wellbeing). - Registered Nurse or Health Care Nurse student. Other requirements: - Good oral and written Finnish (min level B2.1) - LOP/LOVe LOP medication permit (to be completed by end of probation) - Occupational health assessment and drug test - Tuberculosis clearance - Criminal record extract (if employment exceeds 3 months) Advantageous: - Experience in home care - Apotti and Rai skills - Class B driver's license and manual transmission skills Applications must be in Finnish.
