Job Description
Tampere University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the Wireless Systems research group at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences. The role involves developing models and methods for FR3 programmable wireless environments, channel characterization, measurement-based modeling, dataset generation, and AI/ML for wireless communications. The position is for 24 months starting as early as October 2026, with a salary of approximately 4000 EUR/month, plus benefits. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or similar, with publications in top IEEE journals, and have expertise in physical-layer wireless communications, RIS, or AI/ML for wireless.
