Hello, early childhood education teacher. Welcome to Lansankallio Daycare Center, where we provide early childhood education in two groups for children aged 1-5 years. We are seeking a teacher for the "Tikankolo" group for 1-3-year-olds, but there is also an opportunity to discuss a substitute position in the 2-5-year-old group. Our staff combines strong professional skills with an understanding of the significance of early childhood education work. Both groups, especially the larger one, demonstrate strong special pedagogical expertise, as they have had years of experience with special or reduced groups, which will end this spring. Humor, situational comedy, and support from colleagues lighten our work. Our colleagues and mentors include a comprehensive special education teacher (lveo) and a language and culture teacher (kieku). The staff also includes a nursery assistant, whose duties include kitchen work and assisting in groups. We collaborate with the nearby Kallionkuja Daycare Center and Satumaa group, participating in monthly meetings, assessments, development days, and workdays, as well as occasional joint performances and events. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for the pedagogy of the children's group: planning activities, implementing, documenting, and evaluating. You will also be responsible for preparing child reports together with parents and documenting the group plan. One of your key tasks is to maintain sensitive and positive interaction with children, parents, and staff.
