Senior Java Backend Engineer - Nexthink - Remote - Global

We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Engineer with a strong desire to learn and innovate – you help challenge the status quo and are eager to develop new skills to help Nexthink stay on the leading edge of digital employee experience. The candidate shall be heavily motivated by both the product and the technology stack, whilst also able to produce scalable software solutions in an agile environment. You will design, build and deliver large-scale resilient and scalable distributed services that process billions of events, by using modern cloud-native features and techniques. Your expertise will also contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our platforms, influencing both our product and engineering DevOps practices in ensuring high system availability, scalability, and performance. Responsibilities include implementing, testing, delivering, and streamlining Nexthink's data platform, collaborating with product management and engineering teams, designing scalable solutions, participating in the technology roadmap, advocating for improvements, promoting best practices, shipping complex features, handling support requests, and working with agile practices. Qualifications include minimum 8+ years of Java experience in SaaS projects, strong microservices framework experience (Micronaut or Spring), a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science (MSc preferred), expertise with Kafka, knowledge of streaming services and distributed cache, experience with AWS or other cloud providers, familiarity with testing, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, excellent communication and teamwork skills, self-motivation, positive mindset, and professional-level English.
