Hovirinnan School is a primary school with approximately 300 students and about 60 teaching staff. In our shared school building, we also have Swedish-language basic education. The selected candidate must meet the qualification requirements for special education teachers according to regulation 986/98. In the absence of qualified applicants, non-qualified applicants will also be considered. In our school, special education includes class-specific small groups and city-wide, centralized special education groups for primary schools. We are now seeking a special education teacher for a special class. The teacher will instruct their own special class in collaboration with another special education teacher and a teaching assistant. Collaboration also occurs with general education classes. The position is for sixth grade. Successful performance in the role requires excellent interaction skills, a flexible approach, and a collaborative attitude. Experience in co-teaching to support students is considered an advantage. The salary for the position is between €2760 and €3530 per month, depending on qualifications, according to OVTES.
