Welcome to the Early Childhood Education Teacher position in Janakkala! We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a permanent position starting August 1, 2026. The initial work location is the preschool group at Harviala Daycare. The work location may change during the employment. Would you be our new colleague? We expect you to be proactive, initiative-taking, and versatile. Additionally, good oral and written skills in Finnish are required. In Janakkala's early childhood education, you will do meaningful work as part of a competent and committed team. You will have the opportunity to influence pedagogy, develop your skills, and implement early childhood education and preschool education through play, movement, and children's participation. The qualification requirement is the qualification of an early childhood education teacher according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Applicants must also be eligible for preschool education. Consideration will also be given to applicants graduating in summer 2026. The position is subject to the OVTES collective agreement. The salary for an early childhood education teacher is €2907.99–€3098.42 per month, with possible additional allowances according to OVTES. The working hours are standard hours (38.25 hours/week). The employment relationship includes a six-month probation period. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law (504/2002) for working with children. Interested?
