The physiotherapy units in Tampere operate at five different social and health care centers as part of the entire outpatient rehabilitation services of the well-being region. Outpatient services include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and podiatrists working in clinics, home rehabilitation, and assisted living. The physiotherapist's duties include both individual consultations and leading various physiotherapy groups. Work takes place at health centers as part of a multidisciplinary team, and clients of all ages are served. The work emphasizes precise physiotherapeutic assessment and promoting clients' functional capacity through traditional physiotherapy and psychosomatic physiotherapy methods. What kind of professional are we looking for? You are a licensed physiotherapist in Finland with specialization training in psychosomatic physiotherapy. You possess excellent communication skills, an independent and proactive work attitude, and a development-oriented mindset. Previous experience in outpatient work and psychosomatic physiotherapy is an advantage. Start date is August 17, 2026, or as agreed. The position is temporary until December 31, 2026. The probation period is half of the employment duration. The working hours are full-time, with a regular schedule of 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The selected candidate must meet the suitability requirements under section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act.
