Job Description
We are looking for a growing family care team member in Southern Finland PRIDE Coach/Social Worker for a permanent position. About the role You find coaching foster carers inspiring and rewarding. You are prepared to travel by car for coaching tasks and have the possibility to use your own car. You are enthusiastic, development-oriented, and eager to do diverse child protection work within a national organization in a growing family care team. We welcome you as a PRIDE coach in Ruori’s family care coaching team, as well as a social worker in the Southern Finland family care team. As a social worker, you will provide your expertise in a multidisciplinary family care team. The focus of the work is on recruiting new foster families and supporting family care under contract as a social counselor working alongside colleagues, as well as acting as a social work expert in family care support services. You will also work with foster carers, children and youth, and their families. A key part of the work involves collaboration with well-being regions and other networks. What are we looking for? The role requires a social worker qualification (Social Welfare Professionals Act 817/2015) and experience in residential child care, especially family care. We also expect enthusiasm for development work, a flexible attitude, the ability to work independently, and good networking skills. A driver’s license and the ability to use your own car are essential. The work may include evening and weekend shifts. PRIDE coaching certification and experience in family care are required.
