Job Description

We are seeking three responsible and motivated leaders for the afternoon activities at the Grankulla Elementary School, Granhult unit. The working hours are mainly between 12:00 and 17:00, with a weekly workload of 20-25 hours, according to agreement. As a leader for the afternoon activities, you will be responsible for creating a meaningful, safe, and well-functioning environment for children. You will plan and implement activities together with other leaders and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Your tasks include: - Planning and executing daily activities for children - Collaborating with other leaders, school staff, and children's guardians - Participating in the development of activities with the team - Assisting with medication administration and, if necessary, acting as the responsible leader for medication management (e.g., for children with diabetes) The tasks are diverse, and you will have the opportunity to utilize your strengths in areas such as physical activity, arts, music, crafts, or media education. You will receive an introduction to your duties and support from the afternoon team, which includes responsible leaders, other school staff, and the coordinator of the afternoon activities. A genuine interest in working with children and the ability to lead groups positively and inclusively are essential. Good teamwork and communication skills, reliability, and flexibility in changing situations are also required. Qualifications: 1. A suitable higher education degree, institute degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent previous studies, vocational or specialized degree, demonstrating the ability to lead children’s groups through education or experience, or 2. Qualification to teach in basic education, preschool education, special education, or subject teaching, or to work as a student counselor (according to the decree on qualification requirements for teaching staff 115/2004, section 9 a). Applicants with relevant work experience, internships, or other relevant experience in leading children’s groups, or who demonstrate suitability for the task, are also eligible. It is considered an asset to have a healthcare assistant qualification or other relevant education in social and health care, as well as experience in medication management. Proficiency in Swedish is required. Salary: €2,311.28/month (full-time salary, proportioned according to working hours). From August 1st, a general salary adjustment according to AKTA (KVTES) will be implemented, which has not been reflected in the stated salary. Employees with healthcare assistant training responsible for medication management for a diabetic patient may be granted additional responsibilities, which can be considered in the salary according to AKTA.
