Truck Driver / Mover - Korppi Group Oy - Lahti, Finland

Would you like to earn pay while training? Do you have a C-driver's license, a professional driver’s card, and a professional qualification? Korppi Transport has a part-time position available for a mover/driver. The work is concentrated in the first and last week of the month. The work varies from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 and 22:00. The starting point is Lahti. Typically, the departure time is known in advance, and you can go home after completing the day's tasks. Initially, this is a zero-hours contract, as the workload depends on the gigs received/sold. Work begins once a suitable person is found, so act quickly! In exchange for the irregular workload, we offer good employment benefits: - Salary based on the transport sector collective agreement, depending on experience. - After the probation period, it is possible to earn an incentive bonus of 0.51-1.0 €/h. - Comprehensive occupational health services - 10 €/read book, max. 4 books/month - Varied tasks Currently, the fleet includes Opel Movano and MB Sprinter vans, as well as an Iveco Daily light truck with a puller body. We are a rapidly growing company focusing on moving and express delivery services and are constantly seeking growth opportunities. In the future, there may also be opportunities for full-time employment. The work is partly independent and partly with a partner. Your main tasks will be: - Driving moving trucks - Carrying moving goods and loading the vehicle - Express and quick deliveries, sometimes with short notice - Sorting jobs, such as waste disposal transports - Various pickups and deliveries We expect applicants to: - Have good customer service skills - Be reliable and committed - Hold at least a B driver’s license - Have a valid professional driver’s card - Have a valid professional qualification - Be in good physical condition - Be prepared for occasionally long working days - Be ready to work on short notice Korppi has a zero-tolerance policy for substances, and working under the influence (including hangovers) can be grounds for termination.
