As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you’ll help keep our daily operations on track while turning recurring challenges into smarter, more efficient ways of working across our global transportation network.What you will be doingSupport local Transportation Managers in the daily execution of transportation operationsResolve operational issues such as delays, exceptions, carrier issues and warehouse incidentsAct as a first point of support for operational challenges and coordinate with the right stakeholders to find solutionsManage and follow up on operational tickets, ensuring timely responses and effective resolutionIdentify recurring or complex issues, investigate root causes and escalate systemic or cross-regional topics when neededEnsure compliance with global standards, processes and execution rules, and identify process gaps or deviationsWork with Customer Service, DCs, Supply Chain, carriers and other stakeholders across different countriesSupport continuous improvement initiatives, new processes and tools, and help improve transportation operations through data and operational insightsEnsure accurate use of operational tools and data, including claims and transportation-related systemsWhat you need to succeedAround 3 years of professional experience, preferably in logistics, transportation or a related operational environmentBasic understanding of logistics and transportation processesA structured and analytical approach, with strong attention to detailSolution-oriented and hands-on, with the ability to identify root causes and follow issues through to resolutionA genuine continuous improvement mindset and interest in making processes more efficientProactive communicator and confident working with different stakeholders and teamsComfortable working with operational tools and data; experience with SAP, WMS/TMS or claims tools is a plusFluent in English; additional languages are a plusTeam player who enjoys working in a multicultural and fast-paced environmentWhat’s in it for you At Amer Sports, you’ll be part of a global community of people who care about what they do and how they do it.
