The company is a leader in the development, design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of copper, aluminum and fiber optic cables for the communications, energy, building and specialty markets worldwide. Schedule: Full-time 40 hours or 36 hours (12 hours) on different shifts (day, evening, night, weekend) Salary: $47.54 Benefits: Short and long term disability, Life insurance, Defined benefit pension fund, Drug insurance, Employee assistance program Job Description As an electrotechnician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the plant's electrical, electronic and automated equipment. You will participate in the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of various systems, including industrial computer, pyrometric, refrigeration and weighing equipment. Responsibilities - Install, control, maintain and repair electrical, electronic and automated equipment. - Diagnose failures and perform troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems. - Adjust, calibrate and commission different control and instrumentation systems. - Install new devices and participate in the improvement of existing installations. - Replace defective components to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. - Plan work and estimate materials needed for interventions. - Respect health and safety standards as well as company procedures. - Collaborate with production teams to ensure continuity of operations. Profile sought - DEC in electrotechnics, instrumentation, automation or a related field. - 3 to 5 years of experience or the C license. - Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills. - Thoroughness, autonomy and concern for a job well done. - Interest in continuing education and professional development. - Good team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills. - Motivation to learn, innovate and contribute to continuous improvement. - Mastery of French orally (advanced) and in writing (intermediate). - Availability to work on the day shift.
