We are seeking a full-time early childhood education teacher for Tuomarila Daycare Center. During the 2026-2027 season, the position is in the preschool group. Your work partner will be another early childhood education teacher, and there is also a child care worker in the team. Tuomarila Daycare Center belongs to the same management unit as Luhtaniitty Daycare Center. Location and facilities: Tuomarila preschool is located in the premises of Tuomarila School. The preschool has its own facilities within the school building, with access to the school side. Preschool groups dine in the school facilities and have access to the school gym once a week. Your tasks: As an early childhood education teacher, you will serve as the pedagogical leader of your team. Together with the team, you will ensure that activities based on the early childhood education plan and preschool curriculum are implemented in our daily routines. Qualification requirement: Qualification in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). At minimum, a Bachelor's degree in education, including early childhood education teacher training, or a social and health care degree (early childhood education) or an equivalent previous qualification, e.g., kindergarten teacher or social educator (Act 272/2005 and Regulation 608/2005). We also consider newly graduated early childhood education teachers. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act 6.2 §. The Infectious Diseases Act requires those working with preschool children to assess the risk of tuberculosis transmission.
