Family Worker, Coordinator - Tuplakasi Oy - Tampere, Finland

We are looking for a part-time family worker in Tampere for a private company, small but high-quality team. The services provided by Tuplakasi Oy mainly include family work and intensified family work in Tampere. Job description: Our services are offered in the Tampere region and elsewhere within the Pirkanmaa wellbeing area. The work takes place in the family’s/clients’ homes and environments. Goals are planned with the social worker, focusing on areas where the client family needs assistance. The Tuplakasi worker collaborates with the family to plan concrete methods for implementing change. Tasks are independent and require self-management and calendar organization. We do not have an office; communication is maintained via calls and team meetings. Client work involves close contact with supervisors and regular supervision sessions. The role requires skills appropriate to the task’s complexity, good interaction and cooperation skills, and readiness for independent work. Families have individual situations, often with multiple challenges per family. Usually, two workers are assigned to a family, so work is not done alone, although some meetings are solo. Challenges may include aggression, social and emotional skills, school difficulties, neurodiversity challenges, substance abuse, and parental support needs. The role requires courage to face new challenges, empathy, clarity in identifying issues, and skills to structure change work, enabling families to internalize new methods and skills.
