Job Description
We are looking for an assistant restaurant manager for the restaurant opening in Kivistö, Vantaa, in late 2026. The Kivistö McDonald's restaurant is part of the growing Karhuperhe restaurant group, which currently includes restaurants in Vantaa Porttipuisto and Tuupakka, as well as in Porvoo. Our team members benefit from a world-class chain while working as a flexible local company where staff well-being is very important. The assistant restaurant manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant together with the restaurant manager. The role is diverse, with primary responsibilities including leading front-line staff and managing the daily business of the McDonald's restaurant according to standards to ensure an excellent customer experience for both internal and external customers. The assistant manager must be able to lead all areas ambitiously to achieve business results while developing customer and staff satisfaction. The work is goal-oriented and carried out together with the team. Support, training, and encouragement are available. We hope you have: - Previous experience and success in supervisory roles in the fast-food industry (or in the restaurant industry and quick learner) - Must be of legal age and fluent in Finnish - Enthusiastic, positive, and solution-oriented approach - Friendly and energetic hospitality attitude - Good communication skills in a diverse work community - Ability to work at different times of the day (must be of legal age) - Mara TES expertise and knowledge of work and food safety This role suits someone who enjoys organization, learning new things, is social and responsible, has a coaching and encouraging work attitude, and works well in a team, managing interaction in Finnish and English. Depending on background, we will verify skills according to McDonald's training program, but previous experience in customer service and team leadership is essential.
