Job Description

As a construction supervisor intern, you will gain practical experience in managing demolition sites. Your tasks include supporting experienced site managers in daily operations, ensuring smooth progress of the site, and participating in safety management. You will work closely with the team and subcontractors at construction sites located in the Greater Helsinki Area. The employment is initially temporary summer work from June to August. There may also be opportunities to discuss extension of the employment. Work Tasks As a construction supervisor intern, you will get a comprehensive view of managing a demolition site and participate in various phases of the project. You will support experienced site managers to ensure efficient and safe site operations. - Participating in site planning and financial monitoring - Scheduling and supervision (daily, weekly, monthly) - Ensuring health, safety, and environmental safety within your area of responsibility - Participating in site meetings and following meeting practices - Assisting in site planning and drawings (e.g., site structures, electrical, water) - Assisting in identifying and calculating additional and change work - Guiding subcontractors and workers in collaboration with the responsible site manager. We are looking for - Studies in construction or related fields (e.g., civil engineering studies ongoing or near completion) - Fluent Finnish language skills - Good English language skills - Good MS Office skills - Proactive and determined work attitude It is an advantage if you have - B driving license - Previous work experience in construction tasks - Fluent Estonian language skills.
