Located at Vernissakatu 1, 01300 Vantaa, the position is permanent until 24.08.2026 or as agreed. We are seeking an employment specialist for the employment and integration service area. The role is within the adult team of the Job Seeker and Employer Services responsibility area. As an employment specialist in personal customer service, you will work with job seeker clients, providing guidance and support during different stages of employment. You will be responsible for the entire customer service process in accordance with the statutory job seeker service model. The role requires extensive knowledge of labor market services, unemployment benefits, and relevant legislation. You will also use customer information systems and ensure timely documentation. The employment specialist will help facilitate matching between employers and job seekers, assisting in finding suitable employees and supporting recruitment processes for employer services. The work can be busy at times, so flexibility and the ability to work under time pressure are important. To perform this role, you will monitor labor market developments and workforce needs to ensure the matching of job seekers' skills with employer requirements. You will be familiar with the city's, the state's, and the private and third sector's employment and integration services and utilize these in job seeker guidance.
