General Practitioner, Kivelän health station - Helsingin kaupunki - Helsinki, Finland

Join us in planning the operations and practices of a new health station! We are looking for a general practitioner or a doctor interested in general medicine for a permanent position starting from 1.1.2027 or as agreed. Currently, we have a health station with 32 doctors in South Helsinki, serving about 52,000 residents. In spring 2027, we will move to a new Kampi health and well-being center together with Viiskulma health station, where there will be 57 doctors. The large health and well-being center enables extensive multidisciplinary cooperation with many other services. We focus on continuity of care, diverse and meaningful work, and aim for long-term patient relationships. As a health center doctor, you will work in a team consisting of social and health care professionals according to the health and well-being center model. You will collaborate closely with your team and can also consult psychiatry, geriatrics, or orthopedics if needed. The main tasks involve treating acute and appointment patients, but you can also perform child and maternity clinics, school and student health care, or other specific health center doctor duties such as minor procedures. We encourage professional development and participation in training. We provide individual orientation and daily support from experienced colleagues. Both Kivelän and Viiskulman health stations have performed excellently in NLY's training site surveys and are known as friendly training centers.
