Early Childhood Educator for Laukaa Municipality - Laukaan kunta - Laukaa, Finland

We are seeking an early childhood educator for Kirkonkylä Daycare in Laukaa Municipality for a fixed-term position. The work begins according to agreement on August 12, 2026, and continues until May 31, 2027. The position is part-time at 50%, i.e., 19.13 hours per week, and is carried out on full working days 2-3 days per week. Working days will primarily be Mondays and Fridays, with some Thursdays also included. Kirkonkylä Daycare is located centrally in the heart of Laukaa, and its focus areas are nature, physical activity, interaction and encounters, and play, in accordance with Laukaa's early childhood education plan. Qualifications for the position are determined by the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), and applicants are expected to be able to work with all groups of 1-6-year-olds. The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act (6 § 2). Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to KVTES. A 4-month probationary period applies to the employment.
