Marketing Manager, AC Oulu Group Oy - Worker Pohjois-Suomi Oy - Oulu, Finland

AC Oulu is a multi-sport club based in Oulu, founded in 2002, representing northern attitude, perseverance, and community spirit. In addition to the Veikkausliiga football team, AC Oulu includes AC Oulu Volley and AC Oulu Basket, which strengthen the club's multi-sport nature and regional sports culture. A new Heinäpää football stadium, scheduled to be completed in August 2026, is also part of the community. We are looking for a marketing manager to join AC Oulu's media and communications team. The person will combine strategic thinking with practical execution – someone who not only plans but also implements, develops, and completes projects. AC Oulu is a multi-sport sports and events community where marketing extends beyond a single team to various entities, audiences, and experiences. As a marketing manager, you will be responsible for: * Strategic planning and practical implementation of marketing * Content creation (text, images, videos) * Development and maintenance of visual identity * Implementation of brand renewal * Collaboration with corporate partners – acting as the main contact in your area * Development of various marketing areas both within the team and independently We expect you to have: * Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on work * Strong skills in content creation * Good visual sense * Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders * Ability to prioritize your work and delegate tasks when necessary * Self-motivation and initiative in managing your work * Fluent Finnish and English language skills Preferred qualifications: * Proven results in marketing – understanding what a good outcome looks like and how to achieve it * Experience in implementing brand renewals or similar projects We offer: * A central role in a well-known and developing sports club * Opportunity to influence AC Oulu's growth visibly * A flat hierarchy and collaborative work environment * Diverse and responsible work where you can truly make a difference and develop * Comprehensive occupational health services The salary range for the position is €3000–€4000/month depending on experience.
