Welcome warmly as an early childhood educator at Daycare Torpparintupa! Torpparinmäki daycare invites you! This could be a new beginning for you or a continuation of your previous career. We are currently looking for an early childhood education support resource's childcare worker. Your task is to enable pedagogical activities in your group and strengthen inclusion and operations in early childhood education. You will play an important role! The childcare worker in the confirmed group structure works across the city and the placement is reviewed annually based on need. Our unit has work available for at least one operational period. Our focus is on sensitivity, important everyday moments, and committed play. In this safe environment, we encourage children to wonder about the world. You will receive orientation tailored to your needs, utilizing experienced staff and the deputy director’s input. The content of orientation is customized accordingly. This year’s focus areas include the extensive use of various learning environments. Near the daycare, there is a lovely and diverse forest in Keskuspuisto, ideal for educational purposes or personal recreation. The practices are guided by a communal culture. The location is well connected. You can reach Torpparintupa by bus 67, and buses 560, 611, and 611B also pass through. Buses on Tuusulanväylä stop near Yhdyskunnantie. As an early childhood educator, you plan and implement pedagogically focused care, upbringing, and teaching together with other staff, according to the operational plan, Helsinki early childhood education plan, pre-primary education plan, and child's early childhood education plan. Qualifications: We require a basic degree in early childhood education and guidance, social and health care, or a comparable relevant qualification, including extensive child care, upbringing, and teaching modules (varhaiskasvatuslaki 540/2018, 28 §, asetus 753/2018 3 § and 4 §). Recognition of foreign education by the Finnish National Agency for Education also fulfills the qualification requirement. Additionally, good oral and written Finnish skills are required. The selected person must present a valid criminal background check for working with children (504/2002). A tuberculosis clearance for working with underage children will be checked (infectious diseases law § 55).
