The work of a nurse at Linkki Leppävaara involves harm reduction activities aimed at reducing health and social harms caused by substance use. You will have the opportunity to develop new client-oriented practices and collaborate across different services. Your primary tasks include testing, monitoring, and treating infectious diseases, wound care, vaccinations, comprehensive client counseling and service guidance, and exchange of injection equipment. You will also participate in the Western Uusimaa region’s C-hepatitis elimination project, which aims to enhance testing and access to treatment. The work is diverse, variable, and independent, requiring good interaction and collaboration skills. The team includes a permanent colleague, a supervisor, and weekly experienced professionals. You will receive comprehensive orientation and various training. Workplace: Terveysneuvontapiste Linkki Leppävaara, Läkkisepänkuja 4B, Espoo. Working hours: General hours, 38h 15min/week. The position is permanent. Qualifications: Licensed nurse. Vaccination protection and tuberculosis screening are required. Completion of LOVe medication licenses or within 2 months of employment is required. Experience in mental health or substance abuse work is appreciated.
