Oulu Vocational College is seeking a temporary language teacher for a part-time position from August 3, 2026, to June 4, 2027. The total working hours are approximately 300, including teaching, planning, and other tasks. The role involves teaching, guidance, and assessment in the following areas: Communication and interaction in the second national language (Swedish), communication and interaction in a foreign language (English). Additionally, the teacher participates in the development of the institution. Applicants must have a higher university degree (qualification requirements for educational staff, section 14), pedagogical competence, teaching experience, and good interaction and communication skills. If no qualified applicants are available, less qualified candidates may also be considered. Experience in vocational education, teaching and guiding immigrant students, and online pedagogy skills are considered an advantage. Working hours and salary are based on the private education sector collective agreement. The position includes a four-month probation period. Before starting, the selected candidate must provide a criminal background check as required by law.
