Job Description

We are looking for healthcare professionals who: - Can warmly, individually, and professionally interact with the elderly and those with memory impairments - Approach their work with an open and positive attitude and good spirits - Are capable of handling challenging situations, facing new challenges, and working even when all answers or tools are not yet available - Take responsibility for their work, have a strong ethical foundation, and understand that a functional and equal work community requires everyone's contribution - Value well-being, work endurance, and taking care of their own health What we offer you: - A diverse role including assisting residents with daily activities, organizing stimulating content for daily life, and collaborating closely - Tasks in the model of a primary nurse, such as preparing and updating service and rehabilitation plans as needed, RAI assessments, and understanding the resident’s life course to enable a personalized life - Medication administration (for practical nurses) - A unique opportunity to be involved in the startup phase of a new care home. Together with an experienced manager, you will start the operations from scratch and create the most effective practices and routines for daily life - New care home facilities designed for comfort, with a focus on cozy interior, functional furniture and aids, and ample storage space - A positive and cheerful work community. Therefore, we focus on humane, listening, encouraging work, with humor, to ensure everyone’s well-being and better outcomes for all Additionally, we offer: - Free coffee/tea at work and meal benefits - Occupational health services, including one free specialist doctor visit per year - Cultural and well-being benefits To qualify for this role, you need: - A qualification as a practical nurse or care aide, with your practical nurse qualifications available in JulkiTerhikki - Experience in caring for the elderly and those with memory impairments - Vaccination protection against infectious diseases for the entire duration of employment, as required by the Infectious Diseases Act 48 - Hygiene passport or readiness to obtain one at the start of employment - Fluent Finnish language skills - Completed LOVe exams or readiness to complete them - Criminal record extract (Social and Health Care Act 741/2023, Section 28) - Sote professional card (verification card) - Suitability certificate for night shift work (required before starting employment!) - References from previous employers if available We primarily seek full-time employees but will consider part-time applicants as well. The work involves shift work.
