We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Management for a fixed-term two-year position. The role is in the field of business studies. The employment begins on October 1, 2026, or as agreed. The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the Strategic Business Development research group, actively participating in project planning, implementation, and applying for national and international research funding. The role emphasizes building long-term cooperation with regional companies, development organizations, and university centers, and identifying opportunities for research, development, and innovation collaboration based on regional economic needs. The position includes teaching and supervision in the Master's program in Business Development, with a focus on integrating research, teaching, and regional impact. The work requires regular presence in Seinäjoki, Kokkola, and Vaasa, with primary work locations in these cities. Experience in practical and applied teaching, ability to motivate adult learners, and interest in working with companies and regional actors are valued. The role involves building research networks, developing new projects, and engaging actively with regional companies. The annual working hours are 1612. The salary is approximately 3630–4080 euros/month, depending on experience and merits.
