Job Description
Join us in making meaningful work in the field of child protection! We are now looking for a Child Care Worker (AMK) to join Sospro Niittylinnan community in Mynämäki. The position is permanent and starts as soon as possible. Sospro Niittylinnan is a 24/7 child protection residential care facility located in Mynämäki, consisting of two specialized units Verso and Nuppu, and a basic unit Hovilinna. Hovilinna is a home-like seven-place basic level children's home for children over 10 years old who need strong professional support and help with school challenges. Your tasks as a guide include acting as a reliable mentor and responsible adult for the youth, sharing your expertise with the team, collaborating with parents, school, and other networks, and actively participating in quality reporting, assessment, and development of care work. We offer a supportive work community based on acceptance and mutual trust, supportive leadership, opportunities to influence your work and tools, evidence-based methods, tailored training in collaboration with TAMK, a salary corresponding to G23D level (€2723.92–€2969.00), additional allowances, comprehensive occupational health and accident insurance, a well-being benefit (€400/year), and various staff appreciation initiatives. We require a relevant AMK degree (e.g., social worker, nurse, community pedagogue, physiotherapist, occupational therapist), experience or internship in child protection is a plus, and the ability to work evening, night, and weekend shifts. The position is for an indefinite period with a 6-month trial period. The employment contract follows the Private Social Services Collective Agreement.
