Water Management Specialist - Pohjois-Pohjanmaan elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus - Pori, Finland

The Water Management Specialist promotes the improvement of water quality in the Kokemäenjoki-Saaristomeri-Selkämeri water management area, with a focus on coordinating water management and nature conservation objectives and measures in the Selkämeri catchment area. The key task is to promote measures that improve water conditions and support biodiversity as outlined in the water management plan, advance ongoing environmental projects, prepare new joint projects, and facilitate cooperation and dialogue among stakeholders. The specialist fosters collaboration among project actors and the development of larger project entities, supports the goals of implementation networks by guiding and participating in their activities. Additionally, the specialist participates in the implementation of ongoing EU projects in the region. The role can be tailored based on the skills of the selected candidate. The primary location for the position is Pori.
