We are seeking a skilled welding coordinator for Weckman Steel Oy in Vierumäki, Heinola. In this role, you will work in a key position managing welding quality control, inspections, documentation, and production development alongside experienced industry professionals. We are looking for a welding coordinator for our client in a modern industrial production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring welding quality, coordinating welding activities, and supporting production across various manufacturing areas. The work involves close collaboration with production, welders, and quality assurance. The work environment includes trailer manufacturing, hall production, and contract manufacturing, where customer-specific products and longer production runs are produced. The role emphasizes quality management, documentation, and visual inspection of welds. This is an office-based position, primarily during daytime hours. However, readiness for two-shift work is considered an advantage depending on production needs. Your responsibilities include, for example: * Coordinating welding and supporting production * Managing welding quality and conducting visual inspections * Documentation, measurements, and reporting * Supervising and monitoring corrective actions * Collaborating with production, quality, and management * Developing and overseeing welding processes What do we expect from you? We are looking for a precise, organized, and responsible professional who thrives at the interface of production and quality management. We hope you have: * IWS certification * VT certification, at least VT1 (VT2 is an advantage) * Experience in visual inspections of welds and quality management * Understanding of welding processes and industrial production environments * Accurate, systematic, and responsible work approach * Ability to document, report, and guide corrective actions * Good communication and collaboration skills Why join Weckman’s team?
