Vocational Guidance Counselor in Lieto - Lounais-Suomen koulutuskuntayhtymä - Lieto, Finland

We are looking for a skilled vocational guidance counselor to join our team at Novida's Lieto campus. You will work in Lieto as a vocational guidance counselor in the social and health sector, in preparatory education (tuva), and in business studies. Additionally, you will work at Vauhdittamo, which is our guidance point where students receive personal support to advance their studies and complete individual parts of the vocational and common qualifications. The work involves diverse support and guidance related to studies. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Vauhdittamo is open every school day. There may also be evening work until 6 pm. Good communication and digital skills are considered an advantage. The work is independent, but collaboration with different professional fields is required. The qualification requirement for the vocational guidance counselor position is a suitable degree. The law on background checks for persons working with children (504/2002) requires that the person to be employed must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act /505/2002 section 6, paragraph 2, before starting the position. A 5-month probationary period applies to this position. The basic salary is €2,566.82/month plus possible experience-based allowances from KVTES.
