School Guidance Counselor, Heikkilä School - Kirkkonummen kunta - Kirkkonummi, Finland

In Kirkkonummi, at Heikkilä School, seven (7) fixed-term positions for school guidance counselors are available from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027. All positions are part-time, approximately 25 hours per week. The guidance counselor work is carried out in the school's special classes and general education classes within the municipality. Some tasks involve being a personal counselor for students. Please specify in your application which tasks you are interested in. The guidance counselor works alongside the teacher. The role involves guiding and assisting students in their daily schoolwork and promoting the school's educational goals and the development of students' positive self-esteem. Due to students' special needs, good Finnish language skills are required. Additionally, the applicant must have good communication and collaboration skills, a positive work attitude, and the ability to approach diversity humanely and respectfully. Experience working with children requiring support is appreciated. Salary and employment terms are governed by the General Collective Agreement for the Municipal Sector (KVTES). A four-month probationary period will be used for the position.
