Job Description
Insta is seeking a Project Manager for its defense business to lead equipment and system delivery projects and manage installation sites. The role involves goal-oriented leadership of delivery and installation projects varying in duration from a few months to several years. Key responsibilities include daily project management, site supervision, resource allocation, subcontracting, financial and project forecasting, preparing offers, estimating workloads, and reporting. The position is based at the Sarankulma office in Tampere but requires extensive regular domestic travel and a strong presence at installation sites. The ideal candidate has experience leading technical delivery projects in industry, shipyards, or the defense sector, and preferably experience working in ports and on ships. A technical university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) is preferred. The role requires fluency in Finnish and English, strong interaction skills, and the ability to identify additional sales opportunities. A security clearance, including a drug test, is required before employment.
