We are looking for a skilled professional for our client in Tampere: Welder for a permanent position. The role offers a diverse set of tasks in a modern workshop environment for someone who enjoys working with metal and wants to see their craftsmanship in finished products. The work involves welding sheet metal structures, machine parts, and equipment according to customer drawings, in the heavy machinery industry. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, in a two-shift system. Job Tasks include manufacturing and assembly of sheet metal structures, MIG, MAG, and TIG welding of cast iron, welding of thicker materials, manufacturing of steel and aluminum structures, reading drawings and measuring, fitting and assembly of machine parts, ensuring quality and precise work, collaborating with production staff. Qualifications include education in metalworking (e.g., sheet metal worker-welder), previous experience as a sheet metal worker-welder, experience with MIG, MAG, and/or TIG welding, good ability to read technical drawings, precise and quality-oriented work approach, ability to work independently and in a team, willingness to work in two shifts, valid occupational safety card is an advantage, valid welding certifications are an advantage, forklift license is an advantage.
